K20a swap or turbo
K20a swap or turbo
k20a2 (which ever one is in the si) or a turbo that would bring me to 180 hp
i figure with the swap costing the same for me i could then put a few hundred into bolt ons and make it to 180 plus theres alot of internals for that engine
but with the turbo i could put 800 into an intake and full exhaust and push it to close to 195
just wondering what anyone thought would be a better investment cus i heard turbos will kill my engine

put it this way with the stock swap (si = k20a3) you have almost as much hp *STOCK* as you do with the d17 turbo.. save up a few more g's slap a supercharger or turbo on that and then you are well beyond what a d17 could handle..
I could spend 5g on a k20a2 or 5g on a turbo.. take the stock motor.. you can go alot farther with a bigger motor.
