I have been doing a lot of reading on other forums (http://www.newcelica.org for example) - it seems Stafford is jerking the guys over there around with kits and group-buys too.
I know there are a lot of others here on the 7thgen forum who have been waiting a LONG time for their kits or parts (present company included!). In my opinion it seems that Stafford doesn't care about customer service anymore. I (as well as others) have called every now and than only to either get voicemail (IF we are lucky!) or to have our messages go unanswered. Emails go unanswered as well - heck, their VENDORS can't even get in contact with them.
Until all of this **** has been straightened out I propose that their vendor's license here be suspended. What SF is doing is unacceptable. If I (as well as other members here) would have known it was going to take almost a half of year to get our parts / kits - I'm sure we would have gone other routes.
Please leave this thread in FI as it is important to read for those who are considering purchasing from Stafford Fabrications.
Thanks...

I guess Truehonda, Robearracing, Urbanimport and other vendors on the site make up for it.
And the fact that i won't purchase a kit from them.

Excellent point - I feel bad for the site's other vendors. They take on buisness for SF. When SF doesn't deliver, how does it reflect on the vendors? I wouldn't want to do buisness with a company that doesn't have their **** together.
In that light, every time we have requested updates they claim some sort of hold up. I could see 1, maybe 2 times - but this has been going on for a while now.

the point is, they lie to us.....many many many times. Alot of us guys received a PM from the dude that has the boosted corrolla........he told us how he went to SF's shop b/c they were gonna work on his car......he got there and they were busy playing with a turbo flame thrower........they worked on his car for a little bit then went back working on the turbo flame thrower. Seems like they are just lazy and screw us around.
Boostedciviczex ordered his kit in august, he drove down to SF's shop in Sept. and was like, where is my kit........they made it up from scratch and installed it in 13 hrs........how come we had to wait 5 months for our damn kits

Yeah, I'm waiting from my kit, and I hate to do this to Eddie (truehonda), but I am getting a refund next month if my kit does not arrive in perfect condition. Truehonda has given us (the gb people) nothing but the best customer service, and I hate to see a good vendor get screwed over by the supplier like that.

Well I can only say what I've heard from other threads and people's experiences. It seems like they started out very good. But lately with more orders coming in, it seems that their service (and parts quality) have gone out the window. There was a time when I was dreaming of getting their turbo kit because it was the best, and I would be willing to wait up to a year for quality. But now with all the orders shipping with lost or damaged parts, quality control has gone way down. And this is something where even a minor mistake could be a big problem on the car. They are still not as bad as DH, although the gap is closing.

They probably won't.. why would you believe what they say when they come to the site only with the prospect of being banned.. If that is the only thing that will bring them.. maybe we should tell them they are being banned everyday, for a different reason.. They would just be giving more lies in order to stay on the site longer and not lose customer trust.. (which doesn't seem real big to them at the moment)
(not to hijack the thread)

Nope. No boost for me. I have the DH head installed and feel like there is enough power for now. I may be looking for little NA parts here and there like TB, etc. And I'm broke now anyway cause I got a good deal on some HIDs. Coming soon

I'm steering clear from engine mods unless it's something easy. I'll stick to what I'm good at. So are the vendors able to at least contact SF to give you guys updates?
Well I was very surprised to see Mike Stafford Calling my cell phone monday to tell me my tracking number for my fuel system... but yeah I will have to agree on the ban. people shouldn't have to wait half a year to ship out a turbo kit when they can bust *** and get one done in 13hrs.

yeah, prolly cuz they didn't pay their bills .......or maybe b/c ppl were getting pissed that they didn't recieve parts and started bashing them on their own site
1.) I say all get a refund and crash their buisiness with refund and then maybe they will get the point of customer service
or
2.) Get together and all(at least ten of uts guys) drive to their shop and ask for kits this will totally wake them up with ample angry customers banging on their counter for their parts
or
3.)Hire one lawyer together and have him make legal documents saying if they dont deliver the "fully paid for kits" they will recieve a summons for seperate small claims court trials all over the country that they must attend or recieve bench warrants.
or if all else fails
4.) Mount up a posse and show them 7thGen rides through and Hell will follow (using mild to extreme violence)
#4 j/k maybe

I really don't want them banned - rather suspended until they make good on everyone's kit. I'd rather have my manifold than a refund, but I really don't want more excuses.
I think SF needs to be contacted by one of the higher powers that be from the board and let them know the situation......

I say suspension until they get their **** together.
it is a shame, they make some dam good kits and i could really use an intercooler and fuel system from them but i don;t want to wait 8 months. i say they should be suspended until they get their $hi* str8. i think there is a huge amount of their buisness that comes from this site and it's gonna hit them hard. I think true honda should suspend their products and not sell any till they are back to running like a decent shop.

i say suspend them, everyone ask for a refund, and then custom make your own kit like you should have done in the first place
