whats the deal with the SF intercooler?
I was just curious why the SF turbo kit intercooler has the in and out put pipes on the same side? is there a reason for this? im just curious because IMO i dont really think it looks good. can u get an intercooler for the 7thgen that is like the regular intercoolers. where goes in one side and out the other? jsut curious if someone could shine some light on this for me?

It is like that because of the way the piping for the kit is made. There is just not as much room to route things on the driver side. You can have a "regular" ic, but I don't think you can have one with the stage 1 SF kit. The TD kit uses a more traditional ic.

I think you'll have to remove the washer fluid reservoir and AC. They did it because there was no room for pipes without serious modding.
I dont have or haven't seen enough of the SF kit but all i can think of is the only way to make it work with the turbo placement and piping clearances. But that doesn't mean that it doesn't look cool or function properly. I would be curious of the pressure drop because of the extra routing.

I had mine on both sides. I got to keep my AC, but had to relocate the washer reservoir which is no big deal. With a few more bends, you can get away without having to relocate anything though.
