It would smoke any V6 or V8 out there.
i wanted to do this but with a c32 (drop a legend motor into an older civic) instead of the j30 engine... in the long run if it was possible, your front end would be so heavy... second of all if you had the money, it would be a hell a lot more cost effiecent to drop a k series motor, and if you really had the money get the type r tranny... and then with the motor drop in new internals and you wil get much better handling and overall performance
Is that a possible swap, the S2000 mated with the k24? Correct me if I am wrong, and I am sure that I am. Wouldn't that job need quite a bit of fabrications? Also, you can kiss that great mileage away but if your spending upwards of 10k on your engine then I guess money isnt a problem for you.

anything is possible if you have enough money, but I wouldn't put a v6 into a civic. The best you can do is a k24 with a k20 vtech head. or just a k24.
BTW we always get this questions and then the person never shows up again to post.

They probably just read it and leave....lol
anyway when the K-series came out they thought you could put an F20C head on it.......Can't do it....just a rumor.
But of course anything can be done with money.......IE: V6 in Civic, which i am really surprised has never been tried before with all these rich retards out there.

The K24 Motor has a 9.7:1 compression. So boosting it would not be a problem. With 8psi the K20A3(SI motor) makes about 270whp. Now the K24 factory should make about 300whp just because of the bigger deplacement. Add the K20A2 head for the true IVtec and I don't see why you wouldn't see about 315-320whp with only 8psi. And that would be plenty enough power and not be that much of a strain on the motor.
