Joined the turbo family today!!
Hey guys, just letting you know that I have successfully installed my first custom turbo kit today on my 01 Civic EX. I haven't posted much at all on 7thgen.com but I learned everything I know about this project from this site. Just wanted to thank all of you for the help! I going to get some video tonight and I will post it up tomarrow.

Sorry I left you guys hanging but i've been playing with my car all weekend
. Here are some pic's, keep in mind I still have some work to do but you will get the idea... My system consists of a t28 turbo, turbo-performance manifold and IC (IC isn't on yet
), modified AEM intake pipe, bosh BOV, and the rest was put together from stuff around my shop... hope the pics work it's my first time posting.

I'm not running a fuel set up as of now but i'm going to give SF a call tomarrow and talk to them about their system. Should I be looking into an aftermarket headgasket? As of now she is only running 4psi so hopefully there won't be any problems untill I start cranking up the boost.

But really, how are you adding fuel under boost? I dont know much, but I do know more air mean more fuel is needed.
Fuel system is going in as soon as possible. I've only been running the system enough to know that it works. Where is a good place to get a leakless headgasket and what would be the best one to get?

As far as fuel. Do it yourself. Get an inline fuel pump and a Vortech FMU. For about $200 you can make your own. Contact H-townboy from SpeedFetish. He designed his own custom fuel kit using the FMU and fuelpump. I am sure he could easily beat SF's price by $100.

I've spent just under $2000 so far and to finish it up i'm guessing another $300. I still have some exhaust work to do and I'm going to get the fuel set up later today. I wish I had gone with a kit but its nice to know I did most of it myself. Once all the odds and ends are taken care of i'll get some better pics for you guys and hopefully a dyno soon.
