theres sooooooooooooo many things you can do to that car be for getting a new turbo. just a boost controller, exhaust, and downpipe get u into the high 13's. you can easily run 20-25 lbs of boost with the stock turbo. my first recomendation is change the timing belt!!!!!!!
and talk to people who own those cars the potential is endless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a friend who has a 99 GSX running high 12's. I know he has a turbo timer and a boost controller, which all modified FI cars should have. He said hes running 20 psi, compared to the stock 15-16 psi, but on an upgraded 16G turbo.

Stock on a 14b (89-94) is 14psi. Stock on a t25(95-99) is 15-16 psi.
You bought the turbo, but make sure it has the same flange as your stock manifold or you'll be needing a new flang. A boost controller will definately help, especially to prevent spiking. Upgrade your fuel injectors and get an SAFC2, has a built in knock sensor. Tune it for about 16-17psi with the fuel upgrades and you'll be sitting happy.
Turbo timer is necessary with all turbo cars, whether you buy the box, or sit there with the car running for a few minutes before you shut it off.

haha thanks bro
Yeah 14 is def fun on STOCK turbo. but larger turbos become more efficient at higher psi settings making an even bigger difference. upgrade the fuel and run 16 pounds, you'll be haulin as*

Not to sound like a jerk but you should be doing some more research into everything before you go throw a bunch of parts on. For two reasons. One to save your car and secondly to get the most benefit from them.
