To answer your question: If you have custom mounts pretty much any honda engine will fit in your car with little modification.. K series, B series, D series motors will fit.

Rep Power: 0 If you want to swap a B series make sure it is from a 01 to be legal. I think HAsport is making mounts for B series in 01 civics, I THINK. I know they are making them for K series.

civichxtreme: Can i ask why you want a b series over the K? cost? I can tell you first hand that B series swaped cars are not as fast a k series cars mod for mod....trust me

Rep Power: 0 I'm in the process of putting a B series in my 01 right now. It is not an easy swap.
Mine is for a dedicated race car so the smog issue is not a problem. I chose a B series because the HP/$$ is still better than a K series. It won't be for long but as of right now, it still is.
I am using a 1991 JDM B16a with a 1994 LS trans.
HASport is working on a kit right now but I heard it was still a month or so out.

Once the $$$ of the K series comes down and the availability of aftermarket parts increases then it will not be true, but right now it is.

And I think you will agree that $ is almost always the limitation on how fast your car goes.
