Ok I searched but couldn't find a good answer. I know sleeves are the best way to go but it cost a lot. I was thinking of getting a block guard for now just as a safety. Does anybody have and advise on this item. Good or bad would be great. I am boosted at 9psi now and I take it to 11 at the track. Runs great so far. running it like this for about 6 months now.

save your money and do it right the first time. Many ppl have run over 20psi with just a block guard.........but i would never do it.

Sleeving is the best way to go. If I'm not mistaken Eagle sleeves blocks. Blockguarding is okay, but long term there is no guarentee that it will hold up.

Pretty much a block guard is a 100 dollar sleeving job.. Save up the money and get your block sleeved, you can run a whole lot more boost than you can with the block gaurd.

If you only want to run 11 PSI then a block guard should be fine. I bought the KMS one. I was actualy running 11-13 PSI for about 2 weeks w/ no internal mods but I blew my head gasket.

hahah, i didnt mean to have to buy two kits, but the first influx of parts were junk, and the company that made them wouldnt take them back. u have to pay extra to fix the problem, and well thats what i had to do, i was quite lucky that the shop that did it did in fact do it, bc normally they dont install parts that werent bought there...liability
