yeah... but at higher RPM's you won't even hear the knock, it becomes to high pitch for humans.
I think our car comes with a knock sensor... does anyone know for sure though? I now if it does, when it detects a knock it retards the timing to prevent blowing it's self up.

yeah, we have a knock sensor.
I found this a while ago... if you have a laptop, you can do the same. It's pretty cool if you get up to those points where it's impossible to hear.
