Part of DH fam (high boost here I come)
I am sending money to Josh from DH within the next 2 days, for whenever all the money clears.
I am buying the full replacement DH D17 shortblock. Low compression, custom rods and pistons, honed block, new beaings, oil pump, etc...
This is the setup acclaimed to hold 20psi... I will be running low boost for a while to break it in, but when it's done, I'll install my Vortec fuel rail, 330cc injectors, and get the whole thing dyno tuned with my VAFC2, hopfully between 17-21psi...
This engine, on my T04B/T3 hybrid, clipped turbo, 2.5" catless exhaust, stage 2 ACT X-treme clutch and flywheel and other various supporting mods... Hopfully I can be one of the first to publicly list a dyno showing more than 300hp at the wheels.
I did talk to Josh twice today, they're starting my shortblock as soon as I send the cash to 'em.

Kinda weird though, I didn't plan on much more for the engine for a long time. Then I am told my HG blew, so I'm makin sure this doesn't happen again... lol

I dont want to go too overboard until I start my business next year... then you can see the fastest D17 around...
All in time though... It's a performance shop with an AWD dyno that me and a buddy are starting next year. In the Jupiter, FL area (where I'll soon be living).

Seriously dude, if your going to put that kind of money and work into it, get the blocked sleeved. That way when your pushing 20psi you don't have to worry about anything.
