What exactly is "dyno tuning"

Everybody keeps saying that they have to "tune" their turbo, fuel setup, "dyno tune". What does all of this mean? If i get a turbo kit, will i be able to do this myself. What is all involved?

Well in order to dyno tune you need a dyno. You dont have one, but i'm sure your local shops do.

Dyno tuning your car....places your car on rollers. connects it to a computer and it tells you what HP ur making, where, what gear, and it charts your a/f curve. Then...with the use of something like a vafc, or an fmu, or an emanage, or hondata, etc etc, you fine tune the cars setting in order to make more power...and more efficiently across the board. Without tuning, you can be running the incorrect or unsafe settings, therefore increasing your chances of blowing up. Up side to dyno tuning is that you can seriously fine tune it so that you make an optimal amount of power. You can significantly increase your HP inone dyno session!!
You can technically do this yourself...but only if you have the know how. Here's ap ic of my car on a "dyno":

Good look on the info. So lets say if i get the SF kit, does that come with an FMU or EManage or Hondata, or do i have to buy one seperately. Also, you said you can tune it yourself if you know what your doing. If you DON'T know what you are doing, will they tune it for you? does this cost extra?

SF kit comes with the FMU, and you don't have to tune it. If you get the E-manage or SAFC then u have to tune them.
