Can we use a fuel pressure regulator on our cars? If so what pressure would it be good to set it to for nitrous and is it a good thing to get? Where can i get a window switch, and how do you install the window switch on a zex wet kit?

Yes and no. Yes you can but it requires a fuel return system being the stock regualtor is mounted in the tank. As for pressure im not sure. But if i were to guess id say 45 psi plus?

He's right. And with the return fuel conversion you'll need a fuel pump, such as the walboro 255lph (in tank).

MSD makes window switches ( I think they call it an RPM Modulator ). Find your local dealer and they should be able to get you one. You will also need to by the "modules" that determine between what RPM ranges you want to spray.

how is the window switch installed? And would it be better to get a FPR and a return line for nitrous?

No. A fuel return conversion is postively not necessary for nitrous. It's not even necessary for turbo.

WIndow switch is hooked up to ur RPM wire (either from ur tach or ECU) and to the n2o kit, i'm note sure where though. I'm assuming the activation switch. It all depends on whether you are also having it activate at WOT once u have the n2o system engaged.

I bought a walbro 255LpHr fuel pump for my car a while ago, but I havent gotten around to putting it in yet. Does this mean its not going to be a simple remove and replace?

Oh yeah, and btw...I could have sworn that I've seen AEM fuel pressure regulators for our cars, for sale in Super Street a while ago. This isnt true?

From what I understand the "honda" fuel pressure regulators aren't really applicable for our cars. What can be done however, is adapting a "universal" fuel pressure regulator. I dunno about the AEM FPR, perhaps they released somethin applicable for our cars?? But that I know of...the typical FPR made for Honda's isnt a simple bolt on for our cars. Did you notice if it just said xx-01 honda or if it specified for the 01+ civic? Cuz that I know of, in 2001 there were still other hondas manufactured (namely integras) that used the old fuel system.

As far as the Fuel Pump goes, I'm not sure if there is a DIY posted on this, but it should be lingering around somewhere. I don't think it is an "uber easy" task persay, but it is doable w/ a little patience. PM me if you want cracker...we'll talk more. I might have some helpful info for U

would it be a good thing to use the window switch and the WOT switch? Or will just a window switch be sufficient?

SpdRcrChk: Should i go with the NX or Zex kit? Im thinking of buying a used NX kit from someone on this site and can get a good deal, or should i go with a new kit?

You should be fine w/just the window switch in my opinion. Idea behind that is that once the n2o is activated, it will only spray between (for example) 3,000 and 6700 RPMS. You would only be activating it [the n2o] when you know you'll be at WOT (in a race) anyway.

Question is...will you be launching w/the n2o??

I haven't really researched the ZEX kit much, so I can't tell you how it works, but I haven't heard many complaints from anyone that's used it. However, a simple NX kit would be fine especially if you have the window switch as a sort of "safety measure". Only other thing you might want to look into is an a/f meter, and an in cabin n2o gauge. For obvious purposes.

As i mentioned before...window switches are made by MSD.

Go to your local shop. If the can get MSD parts (i.e. ignitions) they can get you a window switch.
