No opposite end intercooler for EX??
I wanted to get a opposite end intercooler for my custom setup on my ex but i've heard that it's rather difficult to do because the ABS system blocks the intercooler piping. is this right? does anyone out there have an ex set up like that?
so it's the battery side that doesn't fit? i thought it was the side that has all the belts? cause everyone has their intercooler piping thru the battery side and doesn't have to relocate?

Nothing was relocated except the battery, all stock accessories are still there. Piping goes from turbo straight down, curves toward driver's side at bottom of bumper, up into the intercooler, then you can see the rest.

Question about your setup - the picture of the engine bay doesn't show it too well, does your turbo intake pipe route UNDER your bottom coolant hose, or did they install a different hose to make it fit? It appears that it goes under the bottom one (as well as the top one).
I am still waiting on my parts from Stafford Fab (which is essentially my manifold), so I'm trying to get an idea on how I'm going to route my piping from my turbo yet. The piping from the outlet of the intercooler is cake (for me, I have an LX)....Everything is ALMOST here, I can't fuggen WAIT!

No, I'm originally from Texas, but been in Oklahoma for the last 4 years. God it sucks here. Only good thing is that we have no emissions laws.
I can't get good pictures of the setup right now, but I will get some tomorrow after work and post them up... I'll have the car up on a lift to do some work, and will be able to get good shots.

riceburner has his mounted over the top of the core, but what i wanna know is how catalyst has it. he didn't relocate his battery and his pipes run on each side of the engine bay and are thick.

I'm confused, so we can have custom pipes with an ex? Cuz i know a place that does custom piping and stuff, so couldent i buy like the ginat *** Blitz LM universal core, then have the company do custom piping for the IC?
