Intercooler Piping
Im in the process of doing this also. You have three choices as far as pipes: aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel, aluminum and SS are more $$ but mild steel will work just as well if you choose that. They sell u bends in the size you desire at jegs.com or summitracing.com. As far as bends cut your piping as you go and make it fit with welding and couplers...if you choose aluminum i suggest getting a professional welder to do it unless you are really experienced and have the right welder...its extremely hard to get a bead to stay because the temp, gauge, etc. But mild steel U bends are 18 gauge and not to difficult to weld...good luck

Bought some stainless from vecco.net - but, it was pricey. I found a great place that sells perfect stainless bends for a great price, but the name has slipped my mind right now....
all my piping is mild steel. we just cut the angles we needed from 2.25" U bends and TIG welded em.
he is a picture of the intercooler. sorry it is not very clear. i'll take good quality pictures later.
