Question DH Racing Advice

I am planning on buying their port and polish and possibly their stage 3 upgrade with it. I am wanting an N/A setup that will eventually make my car fast. Is this a good way to start? It comes with racing springs, titanium retainers, bronze valve guides, and their stage 3 camshaft work. Will someone who is experienced please give me some advice. Thanks

i think its a good way to start if you want to go out and beat some V8's. i personally started with the basic I/H/E (intake/header/exhaust). its something you will need anyway if you go NA. i am going to do the same thing next year when i get enough money to knock it out all at once.

Do you think the cam will make my car run too rough? Also, how much hp do you think this will add?

I just talked to the guy, and he said that it is going to cost 1400 for the head work with the stage 3. He said that the hp increase will be at least 40 at the wheels and the idle will be a stage 2, so it will run smooth. The price is a little higher than expected, but it might be worth it.

well, if you do get this done, post some before and after dyno results that way we can all see if it is worth it.

Well, I get out of college in June. I may just wait and see if I get a kick *** job first. I might just probably do what fletchman said and do some boltons until I get out. I already planned on nitrous, so I will probably do that soon. That is a guaranteed 50 right there for only 500 bucks. That 1400 is a little high for me right now.

Has this 40 hp increase at the wheels actually been proven on a dyno ?
