Well I guess my friend from the hond dealer service department is wrong. Ill make sure to get the CARB and factory manuals for the motors to show ou guys.
BTW b16 b18 and b20 are ALL the SAME block. The head on the b20 is different. Just as the k24 head is different from the k20 then engine block crank watter pump and other is the same.
So you either have no clue what you are talking about or just making **** up.

Wrong again, the B16A block is unique, the B17A block is unique, the B18A/B and B20B/Z are similar dimensionally to each other. And for the record the B16B and B18C are essentially the same as each other.

i suggest a crv tranny, AWD baby... they just put a crv tranny in a teg and the way they got the rear shaft in was by getting a fuel cell, they had to convert to 5 lug... go pick up the latest hondatunning mag, i would love to make a awd k20a civic.... my dream car

I think the Type S tranny would be the best to bolt up to the K24.
K24 block+K20A2 Head, tranny, and ECU=Sweet *** swap with tons of power and torque!!
But the big question is, Will the K24 block be able to hold the high revs from the K20A2 ECU? I know that the K24 block out of the TSX would, but I'm talking about the block out of the CRV, Accord, and Element. Cause those block are cheaper.
Thoughts?

Can you post pics of the car?
i got myself into an 02 LX coupe in 02 and its automatic... do you think it would be possible somewhere down the line... maybe mid-late 05 to get the k24 swap and maybe the si manny tranny swap?... how much do you guestimate that would cost about?
i really dont know much about our cars or any for that matter but im trying to learn :-p

Brian... Which K20 is that motor? The intake manifold is to a K20A2, but the PS mechanism is from the A3. If its an A, or an A2 how was the swap of the PS mechanisms? I might have to resort to that if i want to put my K20A2 into an integra, or so im told. I know there is a mechanism on the PS rack itself, does that bolt up to the EK? Help me out here a little.
Thanks
Thanks
So does that eliminate PS all together then? Or does it act like the same kind of PS mechanism on the A3? If it is just like the A3 PS mechanism, i thought there was a small device or something located on the steering rack that worked in conjunction with the idler pully, does that bolt up to the EK direct?
