Rep Power: 0 how fast? would the k20 w/50-shot run the1/4 mile?
I was wondering what an type s would run in the 1/4 mile with like a fifty shot of giggle gas. Im thinkin of doin the swap to a k20 and i have a "NOS" wet kit on my d17 now. I'm still dissapointed with the results after i strapped on the nitrous, I got 15.6 on the 1/4. By the way I'm runnin with a DX... (DX 4 life)...with aem cai and skunk2 exhaust and my reaction time was close to a .975 which i know is really bad. A 15.6 will only keep up with a 2000 or 99 SI. Before i was runnin 17's. its fun to shoot nitrous and i know if i get done with the swap ill definietly strap on the nitrous on the k20. I know that a 1 1/2 seconds is a lot to shave off but do any of you think a type-s with a fifty shot can take an evo or sti? I think the sti runs like low 13's or 13 flat. what 1/4 mile with nitrous on a type-s? how fast would the k20 w/50-shot of nitrous run in the 1/4 mile?

Rep Power: 0 WOW... thata seems like a HUGE gain for only a 50 shot... i have seen .9 or so gain at most with a 50 shot... i would say a vic with a 50 shot and K20, IF IF IF IF IF you can drive and get traction should be mid-low 13s.... without hondata and stuff.... high 12s with maybe... noone really knows....

Rep Power: 0 I def wouldn't spend all that money on a swap and then ruin a motor that has great NA potential.
But thats just me.
Spend 7 grand (if you do it yourself) of your hard earned money on that swap and then tell me you wanna squeeze........

I guess the guys who ask about expected times with nitrous on a motor they don't even have are the real tuners of this world.
