6th Gen or 7th Gen for TURBO ???

Hi,

I was wondering if one would get a choice to install a trubo setup in either of the two models which one would be the better choice and why?

1) 1999-2000 Civic Sedan, Vti (D16Y8)

or

2) 2001-2003 Civic Sedan, Vti (D17)

P.S. Any comments on the new Edelbrock turbo kit for D16Y8?

well i would only consider the d16 edelbrock kit if i lived in CA, cuz its legal. but otherwise id definently go with the sf kit on the d17. the new sedan looks better too

speaking just on behalf of the engine go with the d16 car. The motor has lots of support in the aftermarket and will be easier to tune and run hi boost than a 7th gen. and i am not ******* on the d17 at all it just involves more work and money than the d16.

i have on order the edelbrock turbo for the d16y8, should be here next week, i will let you know how that works out. i havent heard anything bad about it yet.
