what to buy??

Hello all. I'm new to the scene and this site. Could use some help and advice.

I'm lookin to buy a civic to mod. Only have 4k and want to do swap with whatever i get.

Can get hold of H22a for 2300...what civic is best for this swap?

H22 is pretty damned big for anything other than the Prelude it came out of. If you put it in a 5th or 6th gen, the car is gonna be pretty nose heavy. I'd be very careful if you're thinking about doing that. It's possible, but I don't recommend it. If you can, get your hands on a B16 or B18. Hell, maybe even a B20 might be a little fun in a 5th gen.

Welcome to the site.....yeah, u won't be fitting a H22 in a civic.....go for a B18.

I do know somebody that has a H22 in a Saturn SL2 and is boosted.

get the older civic and do a GSR swap. If you want to swap the K20A in a 7th gen it
will be pretty costly....the new civics suck and are totall economy cars.

thanks for your advice. why is a b18 cost more than h22 when it has less hp/tq? all prices i've seen are 1k more for b18.

truthfully, i have no idea, but i am gonna take a guess and say supply and demand......the B series swaps are more popular.
