Turbos/Swaps, How are you going to sell your car?
I'm tempted to do the turbo. For $3k, it's more understandable than a $7-10k swap.
However, what are you guys planning to do when you guys sell your car? Is turbo something, I can just rip off and say.. here's an EX for you, or are you guys planning to sell as "Civic EX + Turbo"? Making sure everything's going to be alright, if I do this. Thanks!

I think it'll be a mix. Prob the best way to do it is take out the turbo to sell the car. This requires pieces from honda, but shouldn't be more than $200. Others might choose to sell the entire package/ turbo and all to a younger crowd, this is cool. For now I think a lot of people who have or are getting the turbo set up will be keeping their cars for a while.

Correcto...at least for me
i know i'll never get resale value plus i will never get the interior back too it's stock tan color.
People are still drivign CRX's with swaps so i just look forward to better engines to swap inthe future.
As far as turbo i'd rather sell mine as a kit than on the car it self

depending on the condition of the turbo, i might sell it as a whole. but also depending on how much the kit is still going for in a couple years i may take it out and sell here and use that $$$ to help pay for my new car....or some mods for it

I have started a petition to have the turbo from SF to become CARB exempt.
People could sell the car with no problem and pass smog!

so far 547 views and only 23 people are interested in having the turbo pass the
emissions testing.

I plan on putting her back to stock in two, maybe four years, selling all ther parts, and selling the car as stock... If there is breakage, than i have to decide whether to beef up and keep her longer, or go stock sooner.
