just wondering how much people who have the AVCR have played with it, there is somthing in there where it learns the boost, within a gear and within a certain speed range.

this a wonderfull tool but should be tuned by a pro or at a tune shop. its a really hard system to get tuned perfect unlike the s-afc v-afc.

Apex'i and GReddy use the same technology... right down to the same boost controlling solenoid. The E-01 has the auto learn feature too. It's pretty damn accurate if you can go out on the street and get a perfect run WOT to whatever boost setting you want it to learn. I say, if you are pretty careful and have the time (and don't run over any kids and ****), you should street tune it. Save a lot of money. I did mine and it took a whole 2 minutes.

EDIT: This was before I decided to go back to the wastegate spring to regulate boost. I had it at 8psi then and it held awesome. But until I get my fuel tuned (December), I'm leaving it at 5.

its all been street tuned, the only thing the dyno is used for is AF ratio, as far as saving money all my tuning has been free, actually to tell u the truth, the shop has nearly 100+ hrs of tuning put into it, and ive only paid for 2 hrs, also the shop started over on all my maps last night, now he has to work his way back up to the 13, i did get to drive it on 13 before he started over though, hella fast. spin through 1st and 2nd, and ran out of room before getting into 3rd
