I've heard a lot about Prochargers. More bad than good though. But who knows... at least someones taking initiative.
Good luck though. Let us know how it turns out.

Let us know how it turns out. that's good to hear...though i'm hesitant still...if the JRSC only put 40 more horses or so on the SI (correct me if i'm wrong), i wouldn't expect much gains for our little d17's. Turbo is a much more flexible way. I'm not gonna say **** though till I see the progress. Lookin good man! Another option for me to consider!

well im just happy to see there are some more options for the d17, ive heard superchargers were less maitnance, and they may cost less to fit a certain budget....... either way it goes, its more hp

Will turbo give you more power... absolutely! Will it require more maintainance in the long run.... absolultely! I guess what I was looking for in my car, was something with a touch more power... no all out war...... I am too old to race around town on a Friday night with the high school kids....... but enjoy driving my car.
As for the Vspec I raced that I had problem with beating...... His mods are: AEM Cold Air, Headers, Fuel Rails, Underdrive Pulleys, Short Throw Shifter, Light Weight Clutch, and New computer chip. His car dynod out at 247 Horsepower...... his engine in larger, he has a 6 speed tranny..... and his car used to blow mine away... by far..... He is also 40 yrs old... has raced cars professionally all his life.... and he knows how to drive...... I on the other hand got my car a year a half ago.. had NEVER driven a manual transmission..... all my life I have driven a full size truck....... I could probably kick his yuppie *** 4 wheelin.. but he has the edge on me......
and by the way... he has beaten several turbocharged civics in KC... both on the street and at the track... LOL.... Ironic part... he likes my car better.......

I've noticed certain "Racers" tend to mention their handy caps whenever they race. Like when you beat some kid in a Focus he says "yeah but I didn't rev all the way". My ***!
