ok, so i wanna turbo my civic ex. but i have no idea what process is involved and what parts and other stuff, i know nothing about turbo, could someone explain to me how and what i need to have a good set up? my friend told me that the SF turbo is good, TIA

Buy the book "maximum boost" by corky bell. There's just too much things about getting boosted, to describe. You should defintely know how it works before you get boosted.

Books will help but you should probably go with a kit so everything can be supplied to you then upgrade from there once you learn more about what you want from your setup.
