That is not the correct photo - the real one (on http://www.hksusa.com) looks like a log (turd) manifold.....
im researching, i dont see whats so bad about ductile iron...
Steel vs Ductile Iron = No Contest !
Wether specifying a new casting, forging or fabrication or improving an existing one, the potential benefits of Ductile Iron over Steel are clear :
Improved strength to weight ratio.
Better surface definition and finish.
Easier to machine and a reduced machining allowance.
Reduced component weight (Ductile Iron is approx. 10% lighter than Steel)
Reduced Component Cost.

I like the price of it. The thing that I bothers me is not being able to use an external waste gate. I was planning on using a Tial 34mm, I wonder if it can be welded or not.

the price might be nice, but ur limited to internal wastegate and a small turbo. with the way the flange is sitting the turbo would hit the radiator fan, i have the max rev manifold and still had to get a flexlite slimline electric fan but that was only bc i used a t3t4

Haha, I see where you're coming from. I kinda need something that spools quickly though, I'm looking to do full course/auto-x so a big turbo would make it fairly hard. Plus, on another note, I just spoke with my best friend, he's buying a T-28 killer (t28 housing with 16G turbine) for his GSX. He's giving me his T25 for free!!! It has less than 40k miles on it and spools below 2000rpms on his low comp. eclipse. I figure on my higher compression car it will be even better. So I may just buy the HKS manifold (Love their company) and write a nice review with some dyno numbers and track times. More info will be posted every two weeks or so as I buy more parts.

Yeah I do understand the log style isn't that efficient. I pieced together my kit... $1352.93 shipped. My friend gave me a T25 in excellent condition so I'm taking advantage of that until I have money to upgrade. That price includes BOV, Spearco FMIC, HKS fuel management system, custom pipe kit, HKS manifold, HKS BOV and aluminum flange, Oil return line kit, air filter, and intake insulationg wrap. Price doesn't include MBC and small various parts and fittings. I'm just happy I'll be done with the whole thing while still keeping it under 2k.
I dont know what i want to do...........BUT i know im gonna save for that DH-Racing P&P job, im just not sure if i want to go N/A or FI
If i went N/A id get that P&P job and wait for crower to come out with their race cams or have KMS make me some

I actually PM'd SF already. I am currently in the process of getting the check mailed to him so I can have my kit. Kit, red powdercoat, turbo upgrade, equal runner manifold, and HKS BOV. Looks to be an awesome kit, I have an EX too, with the proper tuning can I eventually expect 200whp with those upgrades?
