Question Tuning ?

I went and talked to a shop yesterday about installing my tuebo and they said they would install it but they wont tune it. What tuning is required and will i need to purchase anything else to tune it? (I have a greddy FATT and a greddy profec b boost controller ) ???

Basically tuning your fuel setup so you don't run lean or too rich. Boost controller shouldn't be too tough, just read your maunuals.

the emanage can do a whole lot more than just tune ur fuel, if u need to just tune ur AF get the SAFC or if u have vtec get the VAFC, due to the price differences, if u get the emanage u have to have the program to tune it and the cable to plug into the back of a laptop

They are all dependant on your setup. Fuel delivery, injector size, pump, blah blah blah.

Also, if you are tuning your fuel yourself.... you should invest in a wideband O2 sensor and whatever. Bosch maks some. HKS makes one for around $500. It's a knock and wideband O2 monitor. It's nice. I want it.

With that kit, you really don't need anything. When you install it, you install a vacuum line that allows the pump to read boost and adjust fuel pressure accordingly. There would be little to no tuning involved. Get a fuel pressure gauge and a good a/f gauge. Gadgetseller actually modifies autometer gauges to make them more accurate at reading air/fuel mixtures and if you already have an a/f gauge, you can send it to them and have them modify it for dirt cheap.

Fuel pressure and a/f gauges will suffice just fine. With the a/f gauge, you want to be in the stoich, that's between lean and rich. The thing to know about these gauges is that they only read under high throttle and when the o2 sensor warms up.
