sick swap idea
I was reading my new issue of super street and came accross an artical that stated the S head bolts a K24 CRV block easily and will fit into an RSX.
Imagine the touque that would throw down.

CR-Vtec... it's been done with the B series motor but i haven't seen it being done on the new motor till the other day when i decided to visit evolution motorsports where they told me that they were going to tear their 03 si k20a3 motor apart and do a cr-vtec transplant on it... can't wait till it's done...

i mean its cool and all.. but seems to me that everyone is ending up the same place (actually were faster with right setup on sohc turbo) as far as 1/4 mile times.,... all these cars putting down like 300+ hp.. but noone can get the power down to the ground... like the 4 door turbo K20 in car and driver.. ran a 14.3 at like 6psi... im almost there now at like 5psi.. and at 9psi with alcy (which i have, just not full).. we've seen mid-low 13's.... just WAY too much money imo.. you can do an AWESOME turbo with fully built motor and see 12-15psi daily, then see high 12's at the track for pretty much the cost of just the swap.. ($3500 for turbo, $4000 for DH built motor, sleeved and all)......just my 2 cents

All those cars in that car and driver test were set up for autocross. They didn't have r-compund tires, hot weather and had negative camber. Brian g talked about this on clubrsx. All those car run much faster then whats reported. I have problems putting the power to the ground, but with the right tires and psi it hooks. Plus I got an LSD.
Our supercharged K24/K20A2 puts out between 250 and 280 hp and 210-220 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. The variation is dependent on the heat. I am sure when we finally get it on the drag strip with slicks it will do a low 13 or high 12.
Unfortunately, that won't happen until some time in late November. We keep lending out the car to people.

but the engine is more responsive to mods, because of the larger engine.
its like putting a exhaust on our cars and we only get 3 hp, and cars with bigger engines get more power... there is just more power to be released...s

When I was showing my car at HIN Chicago, I managed to talk to a person from ZeroLift out of Cinci. At the time, their shop has done this swap into two rsx-s's, and to them, it isn't worth it. The cars are running almost the same as a modded out rsx-s. Be more worth while to either go all out on a built turbo for d17, like someone said earlier, or go all out on a k20. Seems like of like a cool factor to say, "I have a k20/k24 setup, what do you have?" my .02
