Need info on Swap

There's a guy locally selling a rsx type S engine with tranny, ecu, axles, subrame. I know im gonna need an Sir radiator, new mounts, new codes for keys and stuff like that. But what I wanna know is I think the engine is coming out of crashed type S (as usual) what should I look for as far as damages to parts? Other than the obvious cracked valve cover or head. It's a really good deal but it's legit so I just wanna make sure I won't have problems with the engien being f*cked up.

just carefully look over the motor. check the oil cooler pump and filter make sure that isnt leaking, check the oil pan for leaks, as you said the valve cover, the block itself, check the tranny out...you can shift through all the gears right at the tranny, check the belt on the side. If there isnt a huge rush to get the motor, wait till monday night. Thats when my swap will be complete, and i will have a full list of parts that you actually need to get, cause there is stuff missing on the HASport list. PM me if you have any questions at all...that goes for anyone else that is reading this too. Im not gonna leave you people in the dark like a certain company did for me *caugh* HASport *caugh* when i was tryin to figure this stuff out.

no, my buddy did the wire harness stuff himself, and got it right the first time. that wasnt me that HASport was talkin about. We were tryin to get info from them about it, but they didnt offer any help to us what so ever.
i will be doing a write up on my car, and tryin to help some of the new commers of the swap world rest easier. But PM me if you have any questions...i would be more than happy to help you out. There are a few people that have dont this swap that dont like to talk about it for some reason...im not gonna be like that...ask as many questions as you would like.
