it's hard to say... i think our engines would perform almost identically... maybe a tad bit faster but still not too far off the lx time...

rscivic is an unknown quantity at this point
I think it is going to depend on what psi we are running don't you? I just put on the kit and while there are some differences I am waiting to get the boost controller to really see what hp and put it on the dyno.
Are you doing the alc injection kit ironcow?

I'll put a real answer instead of leaving my 13.55 lol. There shouldn't be a big difference. They are essentially the same engine. If there is any difference, it would probably be attributed to the EX's higher compression ratio.

Maybe you can say that a rough estimate would be that the EX will have 7-8% more horsepower than the LX. An LX @ 200whp, would probably have the EX at 214 or so. It's a little more HP, but not enough to make a big difference.

i think they run about the same due to weight..... ex is almost 200 lbs heavier than my car... (dx, NO A/C, NO PWR, NO sunroof, NOthing in trunk).... so i think i could take one by 1/2 car or so...

Still, it has been proven that the EXs are quicker. With all that you have done you might run side by side, or a little slower than an EX. There is a noticably small power increase in the EX.

not always quicker, with a turbo, your talking 10 morewhp at max!!!!!!!! the 200lb weight diff max big deal, trust me!!!! also, dx tranny is longer, which is better for turbo... i know i can take an ex.... 200lbs is better than 10whp... hell, i can take one now with the same bolt ons as my car i/h/e... so why not turbo'd, ESPECIALLY since with the lower compression ratio i figure to run 7-7.5 lbs on the street, and i wouldnt puch an ex over 6....

oh... and by the way, im talkin about taking out EX's WITH MY 19's ON!!!!!
