Lightbulb turbo into stock?????

can i just throw a turbo charger into a stock 2003 lx civic? if not what would i need? and can someone give me some names of quality brands?

The Stafford Fabrications turbo kit bolts right up to the 7thgen civics. The kit is $2900 and makes awesome power, and has the most upgrades for making more power later on.

not to mention other companies like maxrev and turbo discounters... we're soon going to have more than 7 people with the sf kit pretty soon... one of those are mine.. hehehe

turbos

can i throw an audi turbo or like an old diesel volvo turbo in a civic, what would happen?

Yeah. You can as long as you have a manifold and downpipe that is flanged to fit whaterver turbo they are using.... and that you have enough clearance between the block and the fans (you probably don't have to worry about that... I'm sure those cars use smaller turbos). Then you need piping that will fit up to the compressor inlet and outlet. That's just the turbocharger. Then you have to worry about fuel, intercooler, intercooler piping, oil lines, blow off valve, etc etc.

There is a lot more to a turbo system then just a turbo. Remember that.
