No. No, no no no no. Abso-freaking-lutely not. Please, read some threads for a while before you post asking questions like this that would be readily evident were you to go out and actively seek information.

b16/b18 is outdated.. k-series is the new b-series.. far more superior and you can get one in your civic for cheaper than you would any b-series

I have actually seen pics of it done before but i think it required custom made motor mounts, not sure. I think those guys that were doing the land speed record were also rocking a B-series in an EM2 chassis, anything is possible whether it's cheap or not is another story.

the cheapest engine to swap into a em2 is a k-series engine. Or you can sell your civic and buy a used rsx. It all comes out to roughly the same. I've seen use Type's go as low as $13k.

It's certainly a valid question but one you should ask yourself before posting. Hmm its 2008 and noone has tried this, I wonder why? If it was feasible it would be more common place and everyone would be trying it.

not possibly unless you want to spend a shitload of money. the only reason they did it for that landspeed car was because they had a displacement limit. that was actually a DESTROKED motor.

maybe i'm wrong (not sure what gen he is talking about) but how cant not swap ith a b16?? i'm about 6 months away from putting in my order a b 16b engine and with the research and friend doing it as well. b16 fit just like any other d series(for the most part) confused why everyone is saying it can't when it has.

I asked the question last time and trust me it's possible but def. not worth it you need a custom hood because it wont close, custom mounts, wiring harness...just a big pain in the *** just turbo you don't need to swap d17a2 can pull some power for a sohc

its been done, one of the old og members did it at a huge cost before k-swaps became common place for 7th gens.
its possible but not worth the cost and the swap is illegal in some states.
