I don't know.. but make them to fit on Hummers, Escalades and Suburbans & dodge magnums send a free set to a popular rapper and they might sell like spinners did when they hit the scene. Thats what your friend has to do to get his product out there in a big hurry.. hook up a rapper & get them into ONE popular rap video. The rest is just keeping up with demand.

Related to heat, I wonder if you can deform or discolor them once you start to cook the brakes.. doing road racing where you're full brake, over and over again.

Well, Lexan / polycarbonates can be very strong. I'd be worried more about shattering where the material is drilled if a hard enough jolt hits them, or warping/discoloring when the brakes get hot. Gangsta rappers won't care though... make some money on the idea before someone else steals it. I believe that there is no better way to get instantly famous wheels, than putting them into a popular rap video.

I don't think many modern cars at all would have wheels over 19" if it wasn't for the trend, created by rappers.. bigger is better mentality. It's a huge market, plenty of money.
