need help about mods. very confused

need help about mods. very confused

hi im a new member and i have an 03 civic AT. im thinking of putting a cold air intake and a full catback... is that a good idea or not? or shoul i just put SRI and a muffler? any suggestions? im just worried since i have a AT, i wanna gain some HP not loose em! thanks!

our d17 does not respond to bolt on mods well.. if you want power, you are not gonna get much, if any... for more info, use the search function and you should get more than enuf info to help you make a decision, as for a CAI for and auto, not gonna happen unless you do some custom fabing... they dont make one... at least not that I know of...

yeah unfortunetly like Joe said, the d17 doesn't do well with mods. Everyone likes to have the low growl of the intake and the wraspy muffler. Full exhaust is really now worth it. For what you get, alittle deeper sound, its not work the money, plus most of them rattle pretty badly if not put on right. I would stick with the intake and axel back. Thats about all you need unless your going turbo.

I just happen to have a Injen SRI for sale along with a dual exhaust axel back. The axel back can we turned in a single with a little work. Don't have the vic anymore so I got all this stuff laying around. Can let it go pretty cheap. Here is a link to my for sale thread. i have intake, header, exhaust, pnp head, and cam gear. getting it all tuned tomorrow at garage kwai actually! i'll post what happens. Yes autos are dumb but its all i have to work with. plus it feels faster than stock so its nice. just click my profile to see the brands I went with.

ya if you have a manual trans. I have an auto and they start around 90whp.
