hey guys. i am hopefully getting a huge hookup 'cuz i'm friends w/ a guy who's brother's friend works at some sort of wholesale alarm warehouse or something. and i'm getting the top of the line alarm and the remote start all for 175 bucks INSTALLED! i think it's a good deal and i know he does quality work 'cuz i've seen him install alarms on my friend's brother's car. i was just wondering if remote start is safe w/ a 5spd. 'cuz u can't put it in gear anymore or something. any feedback? oh also, if anyone is interested in an alarm, i'll see if i can get you hooked up 'cuz i've been reading alot of posts of people's cars getting fuked with and that's uncool.

My friend put a RS on his 95 EX and has already accidently started it with it in gear and crunched his front bumper. As long as you remember to keep it in nuetral you should be fine though.
