Apparently the people at my post office are retarted considering they have no idea how the money order works. They say that they think you need to file a claim to even find out if it's been cashed, which costs $3 per money order. That doesn't sound right to me, so I'm going to try a different office tomorrow

So I went to the other post office today and the lady told me that any post office in the country should have been able to cash the money order. Of course it costs $5 each money order to even find out if they've been cashed. I went ahead and did that (more $$.....) but honestly expect the worst. Ok, I think that I've been extremely patient and civil up to this point, but now I am ****ing pissed. I just checked the status on the money orders this morning and it shows that he cashed them on May 3, 2007. Joe, your bullshit story is up and now the police are getting involved... Does anyone live close to this douchebag? He lives on Broad Brook Drive in Austin, TX. I don't know what the **** makes him think that he's above the law but he'll soon learn that hes not as I'm going to do everything in my power to get my money back. $1100 is not something you screw around with.

i bought some stuff from him before... he was an ok seller, but he was a a-hole. when i decided that i didnt want the stuff anymore, and tried to sell it, he got all pissed and messed up my thread. im gonna make it my personal mission to screw this guy over. he hasnt been here in a couple weeks though.

I live like 15-20 minutes from him. But I don't understand why someone would cash a money order and than sell the item to someone else on the SAME forum. In what state do you live in? I hope you have like PMs saved or other proof of the transaction. I don't know what good knocking on his door would be, but let me know if I can help I guess.

Honestly, his thought process is well beyond me also. I don't know what the hell he was thinking. I do still have all the PM's from our transaction (very glad I did not delete those...). I honestly have no idea how to handle this. He seemed to be a prominent member on here with a lot of people who could vouch for him which is why I didn't really have a problem sending the money order. Now he just dissappears off of the face of the earth.

BTW I live in New Jersey, which is quite a road trip to get my money back...

He finally emailed me after two months and said some bs story that he couldn't log onto the forums for a month. How this kept him from returning phone calls is beyond me... At any rate he did finally send me my money back. Let my idiot mistake be a lesson to everyone to never use money orders.

EDIT: This was after I filed a complaint with the internet fraud website.
