I hate these fuking inspections. I have my 5% tint all the way around, and nobody wants to inspect my car. I even go to shops that are runned by illegal mexicans and they wont even do it. I have even offered to give them $20 on the side just to inspect my car. Yea, it would be easier to take my tint off the 2 front windows, but I dont want to pay the money to get it redone. This pisses me off. Right now I dont even have an inspection sticker on my car, and I did get pulled over tonight by the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Dept. And I didnt get a ticket though, he gave me a warning. This sucks. I wish someone could hook me up on this?

I use to go to a place on 2234 to get my car inspected, they use to let me slide on a couple on things but my bro just told me they don't do inspections anymore. Have you tried somewhere on the SE side like over in the south park area yet?

I have to get them done in fort bend cause I live out here in Sugar Land. I wish someone knew the hookup out here. I dont see how tint is a big deal, but it is.

If its a state inspection, you can have it done anywhere as far as I know.

no you should be able to get it done anywhere in texas. As far as the tint, be carefull they can turn you in for bribery. And if they give you a sticker and the police are there when you pull out, you will get busted and the garage that did it will be shut down. Good luck anyway.

Find other people where you live that have illegal tint and ask them where they go. Or you could just drive up to the Quick Lube or Quicker Sticker with your windows down and hope they don't notice.

Well if that is the case, I will try these little run down shops that are on the side of gas stations. Also rolling up there with my windows down, they just roll them up and check your tint, so it is kinda useless. And I dont know anyone else with illegal tint, so that idea is out.

If you know someone who works at a dealership, they might be able to hook u up.
They do inspections. My homeboy hooked me up but he doesn't work their anymore.

at least your inspection didn't fail because your gas cap that was less than 3 years old wouldn't pass the inspection. While everything else does!

Hell no, I love dark tint, I love to have my privacy. I hate rolling up to red lights and having the person next to me just stare at me, especially punk *** kids and ricers. With the dark tint, I just look at them and give them the finger and they have no idea. Besides, my car is black and during the summer it gets so fuking hot. The tint cools my car.

Hope thangs work out for you at the inspection. . If not, you could always drive to some little mechanic's shop in the middle of cow pasture nowhere and have them inspect it. Your money's always good 'nuff in the country.

I wish it was that easy here, but I still think I can only get it done in the county I live in. I tried to take my friends car to get a inspection in harris county about a yr ago. and they said she could only get it done in fort bend county cause thats the county she lived in.

Well I got my car inspected. But here is how it went. The place that was going to do it for me, the guy who is the inspector there said to come today. Well when I got there this morning, I told them I need my inspection, but they told me that they were out of inspection stickers. I was like WTF!!!. I was so pissed. So I left and said *** it and ripped the tint off my 2 front windows and went to get it inspected somewhere else. Now When I got to this other place, the guy there gave me **** about my exhaust and headlights. Then everything passed except my fuking gas cap. So I had to get a new one of those. Well I got my sticker, and paid $60 for my inspection.

Well now I am more pissed because the place that redid it, scrathed up my tweeter and the tint. I am going to make them redo the tint and pay for a new tweeter.

I am hoping them replace the tint, I dont want them saying "well you should have come back when it happened" And they will probably say that I did it. Well I have a reciet that says lifetime warranty, so they better replace it.
