What mods will pass smog checks in Texas??

I have searched and couldnt come up with anything exact.
I am moving to Carrollton/Dallas area and need to know what mods I can do to my 7th gen that would pass the checks Texas currently has. Sorry for the Noob question. lease:

All I have now is an intake, but i was just wondering how strict they are if I had a turbo or k20 swap? imp:

as long as the check engine light or something isn't on it will be all right...or smoething of that nature...basically if done right no worries.

I don't think there is smog in Texas. Just emissions and inspections. Ahh yes, Carrollton, where I used to go to High School before I moved to California. Beware of the railroads and bumps.

in texas, if your car is newer than 95, it is obd2, which means no smog check, they just hook up the lil computer plug under the dash and make sure that it does not throw any codes, or that it has not thrown any codes recently...then your all good!

mods dont matter, not even a straight pipe exhaust, as long as the computer says its all legit, you are fine....
