the shine isnt as hard to accomplish, it just takes dedication. Mine looks as shiny, you gotta clean it wax it polish it etc. Take care of it and itll show itself off.

another question... how is the light output on those turn signal and parking lights, now that you turned em black? Is it weak? And how did u do em?

Sanding, primering, painting, and clear coat?

Or was it just paint?

High temp paint? from where?

I'm at work and cant get on aim till tonight... About the lights, the turn signal is a little more dim but not alot still very visible during the day and at night... As for painting I just disassembled the light and wipped it down with acetone to sort of etch the chrome plastic and then gave a couple heavy coats of high gloss high temp engine paint... The paint was from Pep Boys...

No worries man. ITs not really that much of a difference once you go black. I say do it. Makes for a more clean look plus kinda sets things off IMO. YOu can always find stock headlights on Ebay in case you change your mind
