the shine isnt as hard to accomplish, it just takes dedication. Mine looks as shiny, you gotta clean it wax it polish it etc. Take care of it and itll show itself off.

another question... how is the light output on those turn signal and parking lights, now that you turned em black? Is it weak? And how did u do em?
Sanding, primering, painting, and clear coat?
Or was it just paint?

I'm at work and cant get on aim till tonight... About the lights, the turn signal is a little more dim but not alot still very visible during the day and at night... As for painting I just disassembled the light and wipped it down with acetone to sort of etch the chrome plastic and then gave a couple heavy coats of high gloss high temp engine paint... The paint was from Pep Boys...

Nice man! Thanks for the info I'm really lookin forward to blacking out my lights but like they say... once u go black... u can't go back... So I'm having second thoughts... =\
