Houston roads SUCK!
I feel yall on the fact that our roads here in Htown Blow, done bent one rim already and possibly another the onther night. If your ever goin down 45S near 2351 (Clear Lake City Blvd) STAY OUT OF THE MIDDLE LANE!!! the freeway comes up about 2 inches and will try to eat your car.

P.S. Houston has nothing on Manvel when it comes to pot holes......I was following a friend in his truck one day down a road in Manvel then all of a sudden his whole front end dropped about a foot. Bent his rims and poped tires.

The worst is trying to go over the wooden railroad tracks. Those things are so messed up and bumpy, they could bend any sets of rims. There are few places where they've put Cement instead of wood, but those get worn down as well and still expose the rails.

Back when I drove a 1992 Ford Explorer, that suspension was so stiff I would bounce around when I hit those R/R tracks. On it's final days of my ownership, I thought it would be funny to speed up real fast crossing 290 and Eldridge and go over those tracks with the wood still there. So I did at 35mph. Everything in my truck bounced around so violently. I shook up my truck so hard, my CD Player even skipped.
And I wonder why the alignment has been bad. Oh well, no more worries about that green monster.

I know what you mean about the roads. I got new 17" rims and Khumo tires and the other day I hit a pot hole and it made a buldge in my front passenger tire. There was a section of concrete that some city workers took out and they didn't mark it, it was like 3 inches deep. I blame it on our stupid azz mayor.

Muahaha that's where my 1988 Accord's suspension comes in play.
It's so old but it rides like it's on clouds.
May not be able to take corners as fast as other cars or steer as responsive (because the Power Steering Rail leaks
)
But at least I can cruise on the freeway with no worries.
