NOT so lucky

well. this storm got me. a couple branches fell on my car. i've been able to avoid all the branches from the past storms, but now it's happened. It's not TOO bad (could have been worse, like in a tree, but you know...)

there's some pics in my ride pic section

but the branches:
- dented my hood (looks like Miss Piggy sat on it)
- passenger fender (looks like it was hit with a baseball)
- driver's fender (looks like it was hit with a softball)
- windshield (crack from the top down to the bottom right in front of the driver with various other cracks spreading from driver's top portion)

well. told one of my friends about it via text message, as power was out earlier, and he's telling me to go CF hood, so we'll see. final answer is from my dad, seeing how it's licensed under his name, yet it's my car....

The hood and fenders won't be hard to replace. You could get a carbon fiber hood and password jmd fenders with sidemarkers to replace them. The windshield can be a pain to replace. Good luck with fixing your car.

well, i haven't got a quote from the insurance yet, as i've been at work whenever they're phone lines are open

but here's a link to the pics, if you haven't seen them yet:

http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...mageuser=16985

my dad's talking about getting one of the fender's dents pulled out (the dent doesn't have any 'sharp' edges...), but it would just seem more logical to get a new fender.

but yeah, if possible, i want to get a CF hood, and Password fenders (or just fenders w/ sidemarker holes already in them :P )

my dad wants things to be 'functional' otherwise he sees no reason in getting it, so i'm telling him that the CF hood is lighter, stronger, and wouldn't need painting, lol...; while the side marker fenders allows people to see that i'm turning left or right from the side...
