hey everyone, hope you can help me out in this situation...

tonight while leaving the dub show i was pulled over. long story short, i got a ticket for my exhaust. i need to go to change my exhaust back to stock and go to a ref.

first thng i need is a stock mid pipe for a dx/lx. the long pipe that goes from the headers to the muffler.

secong is: what is a ref? i have never had to do this so if you have please explain this to me.

I think the ref is the state referee. You have to fix the exhaust and take it to the ref to sign it off.

ya i talked to someone at HAP yesterday to find the partthat i need and he then explained to me what i have to do. I just have to find that place to do it. and they smog the car at the same time, my court date is not till the first week of dec. It just sux cuz i drive with my exhaust like that for shows only and the officer wanted to hear no excuses. he did not even ask me any questions about my plates being blocked through dmv...ahhh its more frustrating than anything...

isn't it just a fix-it ticket? my friend got pulled over for his exhaust...we just put the stock one back on and then he had it smogged by the state.

ya i figured it would be a fix it ticket but he did not write me up. and there is a court date on the ticket. it just pisses me off and wanna make me put my car back to stock...

and that sux man that you got that ticket, but sometimes, ive heard if your coool with them, you can pay emm off!

The whole harley thing is so true, but the exhaust on my CBR is hella loud without the cat and is sometimes louder than some harleys!
