ICE people, got a question about capacitors
i asked this in the ICE forum but havent got a clear answer yet and i know some of you know about ICE. i'm adding another amp to my system, using 4 gauge wires, and i'm thinking it would be a good idea to add a capacitor. since i'm using 2 amps i need to know how i should hook it up. i found this at sounddomain.com its a capacitor with a built in distribution block or i already bought a regular distribution block. which would be a better way?

either one will work, but run your system w/o the cap, if your lighting are dimming, try one, but a cap will help it a lil but wont solve it, if your annoy by it, try rewouded your alt or get a bigger alt
also keep in mind a cap doesnt help your electrical system at all. its job is to just help prevent dimming. i say first hook up your equipment and see if there is any dimming to start with... its best to spend the extra time rather than watsing bucks on a piece that was uneccesary from the start.

I have always went from the battery to the cap and then dist. blocks. make sure you upgrade your neg. wire from the battery to the car too. a re done alt. is one of the best things you can do for your system.
