engine rebuild
anyone in the stockton area not busy thursday or friday? I am changing out my piston rings and installing a cam gear and other fun stuff. If you want to learn some stuff or just hang out its open to all. I'll be doing it at my house. All are welcome. Don't need help just figured I would put this out there as kind of a hands on DIY. Rep Power: 401 dang, stockton is a bit to far for me, plus i have to work until 5pm both days. if i didnt have to work i would go, i'd like to see your car in person and take a look at the TD kit. your going to the meet though right?

My vic is STILL in the shop and won't be done until after the meet... waaaay too much $$$ to fix 4 bent valves.
I think I'll be busy those days but you're still going to hang out sometime in a Stockton meet, right?

Rep Power: 297 yes. when ever you guys want to meet up let me know. Asahi...I'll be starting on it as soon as I get up prolly around 9am or so and it should take all thursday and some of friday. I like to take my time. Do it right the first time. And I don't like to rush. prolly would only take me a day but I like to take it slow so I dont get all worn out and rush and forget somthing.

Rep Power: 297 well. took the piston out and it was broken between the rings. piston malfunction from the factory. This sucks now I have to wait for a new piston. WTF. won't be able to make it to the meet either. this sucks.
