Bear Creek Road, follow it til you see the spot, cant miss it.
Canyon road, its a town itself, but its right next to Moraga, easy directions.
Buildings off the freeway near the Stoneridge Mall, look great at night.

The Monterey Fu(kin Bay... From Cliffs to Oceans to you name it.... I would recommend 17 mile drive or even Asilomar...

Unfortunately I can't really help with Bay Area locations, but for those who live in/near (or visit) the Sacto area, downtown is prime for night shots... here's a few I can think of right now:

1. Circle and fountain in front of the west entrance to the Capitol.
2. Old Sacramento, esp. near the waterfront (bridge lit at night offers great reflections off the water)
3. Near any historic building (they're usually well lit)

Other than that...

1. Tahoe... with all the snow that's falling now... if you could find a place where the snow is clean, taking pix of a white car against the snow/trees would be sick...

2. (this is a BA one) San Fran... my favorite place is the public oceanfront beach... pix at either sunrise or sunset would be gorgeous (might require use of a ladder tho... to get both the car and the sky/water in the photo.

That's all I can think of right now... will post more as I think of 'em.
