hey,

does anyone here know a good reliable shop in the 510 that does custom exhaust piping? i got quoted $150 in a local shop nearby and thought that seemed too much.

i plan to purchase a universal muffler and go custom with that. So if anyone knows where i can get this done cheaper within the 510 area, PM me n let me kno wsup. any feedback/comments/opinion are welcome.

i went to hayward muffler on mission blvd, its just a lill hole in the wall place, i did my piping there and they did all the welding for my muffler also and only cost me 80 bucks... im happy with the work they did on my car...

^^whats the cross st? mission blvd is a major street. do u have an address or know whats nearby this place?

I got custom 2.25 piping from the cat for 60 bucks. This was in so cali though. It still shouldnt be that much unless you are getting mandrel bent

damnz yO, i got totally ripped off..paid 160 for 2.5 inch down here in ATL and my boy paid like $280 for his 2.5 mandrel bent...wish i lived there

what exactly is mandrel bent? is it to angle the muffler/tip upward or a specific direction?

the closest cross street is tennyson, my piping goes from my header to the muffler, no cat for me. it is just south of the intersection on the west side, sorry so late...

Mandrel bent is when there isnt any kinks or dents in the bent sections. The sections that are bent are the same size diameter as the straight sections.

I forgot to mention that mandrel bent tubing is suppose to allow for better flow..
