factory stock hid are okay if they came stock
its not okay when the officer tried to rip out his harness and asks him to open the trunk and then the officer left without sayin anythin to him.
so he ended up with an open trunk and hood in the middle of traffic. ****in pig. it was in oakland too. old white man

what do you mean harness? he does not have the authorization to rip out any part of your car without a warrant. sue that cop.

my frends 2004 acura TL with STOCK HIDS driving down oakland roads on his way back home to san lorenzo. hes driving legal (speed limit, selt belt,etc) behind a cop unit, cop turns on his lights in FRONT of him to signal him to pull over so he does. officer asks for license,regis, insurance. after viewing those documents, he tells him
officer: "you know those lights are illegal right?"
frend: "naw, they came with the car, their stock"
officer: "open your hood" ... trys to find the area where the headlights are and starts toggling with it. trying to pull something apart or looks like hes trying to tear something out..
officer.."open your trunk" <--- frend was playing music not too loud (stock system with factory 10" sub)..
officer: (after viewing the trunk... no system at all. officer walks to his car and just drives right off leaving my frends hood open AND trunk opened in the middle of traffic...
the officer was in his 30's, forgot the name but he was an old white man.

^^ DAmn that sucks, did everything get resolved? Did your buddy copy down the officer's lisense plate number and report him?
was ur buddy's fault for not getting down name and id badge of that officer. sucks to be him to be harassed.
he did get his name but not badge number, he didnt wanna watse time about what happened. he didnt wanna go thru all that work just to complain. and plus, nothing was damaged.
