My barely three-week old RSX got hit yesterday. I was at a dead stop and this guy in an SUV rear-ended me. It crushed my whole rear and hatch. I had to go to the hospital because of injuries. My car was brand new, now it's ruined. I'm really pissed because of my injuries and my car. Luckily I had a witness that saw the whole thing. Luckily, I didn't have any mods on the car yet.

I'm not sure how the laws work in Cali, but I guess it wouldn depend on the extent of the damage done. In any case, I'm not sure how much of it is under your control, or the insurance companies.
GreenNVicious is right though, any repairs to that extent of damage that you describe may cause future problems you cannot accurately anticipate.

I just got my RSX a week ago, so I'm very careful where I park and when I drive. I'm very paranoid about my RSX...
Good luck with everything though!

Damn dude, even after complain about your rear suspension and research anything that you can possibly b1tch about to raise the price of the collision. If they do end up "fixing" it for you, I feel bad dude cuz you had a new ride and not its just brought back from the dead when it hasnt even been devirginized by putting your plates on it.
