is clear corner with white light illegal
is clear corner with white light illegal? cus i just clear my headlight, and blacken it (such a bad job, mite redo it later). so now i have white light for turn signal, i heard that white light its illegal to be driving with white cornering light, if so, where can i get a amber bulb

its been hard for me to find a 7443 or 7440 amber bulb. the only thing i found was a 7443 amber bulb at pepboys but its made by APC!! i will never buy anything APC. ive seen that sylvania now makes bulbs for clear corners. its blueish white tinted glass but it lights up amber. and guess what? they dont make it in 7440 or 7443. so good luck tryin to find thoes bulbs in that size

If they are cleared but have a amber color them you should be fine
you get the bulb on ebay and get leds they last a hella of a lot longer
I think that you can them at a pepboys as well

Rep Power: 0 is the one under 7443/7440 legal, if i change it to other color like blue, or super white, i believe they are 194/168 bulb
is it legal or i just keep it original bulb, but i think the super white will look better.
i find 9led 1pr 7443 amber light on ebay for like 11 shipped, i think i will get that

the amber bulbs are painted and will fade in a matter of time. ive owned the APC bulbs for about a month and it faded. right now im driving with the stock turnsignals in waiting to get a ticket for it. ive been searching for 7443 or 7440 LED bulbs but i cant find it here in philly. i would order from ebay but i rather order it from a website or store.

i got a little trick to fool the popos. i keep an ORANGE crayola WASHABLE marker in my car for when i go to an area with lots of police (south street). i use the marker to color the part of the headlight where the turnsignal is and presto! amber turnsignals. obviously this wont work in the rain, but it comes off easily with a wet napkin. u can go to mcdonalds or any restaurant and get a bunch of wet towelettes in the little packet. they work great.

Exactly, that's fukking ignorant...painting your headlights with a marker? Its a car, not a coloring book. Grow up...or just leave them clear, and sack up and take the ticket. Dont paint it, and its not a BIG INVESTMENT, its a measly $4
