6.5 is a pretty big quake... thank goodness what it was centered off in the middle of nowhere. seems most of the time the big ones are closer to larger populations, it's a good thing this one wasn't.
I felt something and saw my computer shaking at my desk at work, and i stopped and closed my eyes, relaxed, and opened them and refocused... i thought my eyes were wiggin' out (too many hours staring at a computer screen will do that to you). I didn't even realize it was a quake (although hardly felt out here) until someone else came in. pretty cool.
if you haven't been through one, it really is sort of cool... the worst thing is when you realize that you can't go anywhere to make it stop... it's a disconcerting feeling to feel the very ground underneath you shaking........
