No I didn't put the stickers on my car. I'm trying to make it look like a sleeper as i add more performance parts, hopefully down the road. I'm into the whole show car thing, but I just can't afford going that route at the time. So i do what i can. I will post pics soon, I'll try in the next few days. Don't have any install pics, but just the finished product. And I thought I heard the pssssss.... sound! I thought i was smokin something, but after hearing a few more times and everyone's confirmation, it's true. It's kinda tight. It's a "wish i had turbo sound."

Drive on the freeway in the fast lane.
Put your driver's side window down.
Make sure the divider is close to you and that it's a solid wall.
Cruise at 65 MPH in your top gear.
Listen for the air sucking when you get off and on the throttle.
Drop your transmission a gear or two.
Witness how loud your unresonated engine sounds.
Enjoy.

haah, my friends always think that my civic is turboed too whenever i give them a ride. sounds like it's spooling sometimes, lol. hella tight!! it seems like we bought the intake for the sound, not for the performance, lol
Stock is faster. It uses the powerband more effectively than the CAI, which only tries to work in the mid-high RPM range. If you're dragging with it, you can't really launch at a low RPM like you can stock, you need to rev up to 4,000 RPMs to get a good launch.

Zell, you know a lot about cars and stuff in general, you seem like smart bookworm kinda guy. Only thing that is funny to me is that the only time you tried showing me something about my tires, you were wrong, remember? Dunno, I just always remember that everytime you post a real good answer on here.

I had an AEM CAI and swithed to the K & N FIPK II.
The K & N took 2/10ths off my 1/4 mile better than the
AEM CAI.
If you are looking for real performance gains, get the
K & N FIPK II.
