Thumbs down I'm ****in' disappointed.

A while ago, I bought Turtle Wax car polish. I decided to read the label and it said it had abbrasives in it. I try it on my gas door but forgot to see what it looked like before I actually put it on there. Well, when I buffed it I see some scratch marks that didn't look like they were there before.

Then I put it on the trunk lid - BAD IDEA.

Motherfxcker...

Fxck Turtle Wax. I know some people didn't like it cuz it's old school but at the time that's all I kept seeing in terms of non-liquid wax. I didn't expect it to be this shitty.

Not having such a great day either to top it off.... other than the fact that Lowe's called me back to come in for another job interview.

No one touches my car except me unless otherwise that person's given my approval.

Rather be disappointed at myself than a murderer.

Anyone know any good scratch remover or polish? Preferably out of the Armor All and Turtle Wax levels.

Thanks, Shahla. Ironically enough I figured I'd just wax the car and I do use Mothers Wax. I like Mothers a lot. I believe I will look into their clay bar set.

I've cooled off. After waxing my ride I got a compliment from a bum about my car when I pulled into the gas station. He was like, "That's one clean motherfxcker. What kind of ride is this? Got 50 cents?"

Represent my car, and I will give you dolla-dolla. (Actually, he got his 50 cents.) Took a long cruise up to highway 5 afterwards and had a couple of freeway races on the way back on 580. The last guy I raced who was in a white truck just cruised with me for miles doin nothin less than 100, him on the far left and me on the far right.

Oh yes, good night indeed.

I've heard good things about Zaino, as well as seen. Where can I find it? I've never seen it in stores.

Generally speaking, polishers have abrasives and are meant for use on old paint before you wax/glaze. Our cars should only need wax/glaze since they're so new. Why did you buy a polish

I almost always polish my car before I wax it, but I never used a non-liquid polish before. This was my first time. Didn't know they had abrassives. Oh well, ya live, ya learn.

I believe Mothers is a carnuba wax.

So how often are you guys waxing your cars? I prefer Mother's and I only wax every 4 or 5 months.

I hear DuPont has a good scratch remover. I seen a guy use McGuiars (prolly spelled that wrong..) and get good results. Also seen positive results from Eagle 1 beleive it or not.
